Effective education results from a partnership between school and home. Without active support from home, children cannot progress appropriately. Parents are expected to help in the following ways:
· Ensuring that homework is done.
All children are expected to do a certain amount of homework which may include learning words, reading, number bonds, spellings, and tables, and other work as set in homework/class information books which are published at the beginning of each term. Junior children whose homework is missing or incomplete may be expected to complete it at playtime or lunchtime.
· Contributing to School Fund.
We organise a range of fundraising activities throughout the year. We are supported very generously by parents whose contributions make a significant difference to the provision we offer to children.
