The Government require that all pupils study a set range of subjects known as the "National Curriculum". The separate subjects, English (including ‘Literacy’), Mathematics (including ‘Numeracy’), Science and R.E., along with I.C.T. across the curriculum, are the main subjects and take up a substantial part of the timetable. History, Geography, Design Technology, Music, Art and P.E., take up most of the rest of the time. Some areas such as Personal, Social and Health Education, Citizenship, European Awareness, and Environmental Education cross over subject boundaries.
We incorporate all these subjects, and we also try to widen and extend their limitations to provide a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum.
